Charming Firefly with Patarev

Create an adorable little firefly with Patarev! Have fun with your family! It’s easy to reproduce and with a few materials… we will explain everything!

Materials you will need:

• Some Patarev (color of your choice for the body and black and white for the eyes)
• A pair of  scissors
• Colored rods of caterpillar wire
• Tracing paper
• A small plastic knife (found in Sablimage boxes)

Steps to follow:

1. Model 9 small Balls of Patarev of different sizes. These balls will be used to make the body of the dragonfly
2. Use your caterpillar thread now: cut out 4 small stems to form the small legs of your dragonfly
3. Place the 4 small rods at the ends of the 2nd largest ball made in step 1
4. Now make 2 small white balls in Patarev for the eyes
5. Then shape 2 smaller black balls to make the inside of the eyes
6. Place your eyes on the head of your dragonfly which corresponds to the largest ball of the 9 balls made in step 1
7. Use a small plastic knife to make the dragonfly's mouth
8. Now assemble all the balls made in step 1, from the largest (the head) to the smallest (the tail)
9. Next, draw wings on tracing paper
10. Cut them out and then place them above the ball where the legs are located
11. To keep the wings in place, shape a small ball of Patarev that you will flatten a little and then put it on the wings
12. Let it dry for a few hours

You can now keep your little dragonfly decoration or play with it!
